Ruby Rose is a main character in the Ascension of an Apprentice fanfiction series. She is currently a student of Beacon Academy, arriving two years ahead of her class after being personally invited by Ozpin, its Headmaster and the Jedi Master of the Council due to the importance of her eye colour.
Since birth, she's always admired and idolized the Jedi from stories told by her half-sister Yang Xiao Long and have always dreamed of becoming one herself. She caused her to romantize the Jedi.
